Erin Horrocks

Doctoral Student

I am a fourth year doctoral student, working on my dissertation.  My background includes working with students with severe disabilities.  My research interests also revolve around teaching and learning of individuals with significant cognitive disabilities.  My dissertation research is focused on training teachers how to conduct preference assessments, controlled body movement assessments, and access skill assessments and use the results from these assessments to guide instruction for students with multiple profound disabilities.  I am looking forward to completing my doctoral program soon and continuing my career in training teachers to work with students with severe disabilities.
