Douglas Petersen is an assistant lecturer in the Division of Communication Disorders at the University of Wyoming and a doctoral candidate in the Disability Disciplines Doctoral Program at Utah State University. His research interests include narrative assessment, narrative-based language intervention, and the universal, early identification of reading difficulty. He has a particular interest in language and literacy difficulty among culturally and linguistically diverse populations
