She also presented two research outcomes at two national conferences i.e., the American Council onRural Special Education in March 2007, and the International Association for Behavior Analysis in May 2007.

Outstanding Staff of the Year

Tammy Soto

The Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation is incredibly fortunate to have Tammy Soto in a key position of financial administration.  Without her, we would be less successful in completing for major funding and in completing the projects with proper financial management.  Faculty consistently indicate that she is an "amazing resource" and "essential" to maintaining grants and department productivity.  Her technical skills are amazing; they include working with Banner, with the Sponsored Programs Office, and with federal regulations and requirements.  Tammy is just a great person to work with.  Grant writing, preparation of grant reports, and financial administration can, at times, elicit a bit of tension.  Tammy can always cut through that with her good natured humor. She makes it work and will have a good laugh about it.
